Pivot is making an important change

On March 1, 2019, Pivot is moving to and the current Pivot URL, will be discontinued. Traffic to will not automatically redirect to the new URL, including any links you have on your websites, including bookmarks or saved searches

A new address for the same great site

To access Pivot, users will need to go to (and login with their username and password). Once there, they’ll find the same great site. This is a change in address only: all data remains, and the user experience and functionality are unchanged.

You’ll also see your email alerts and Funding Alerts coming from an address instead of a email address.

Prepare today

Pivot is fully operational using the URL and you can start using this URL today. Be sure to…

  • Update links on your internal websites, in training materials and alert your faculty and researchers of the new URL before the current URL discontinues.
  • If you have saved searches, curated lists, or pivot search widgets on any webpages, simply change the portion of the URL to No need recreate the searches or lists.

While you are making these updates, it’s a perfect time for you to review all Pivot materials, links, branding and messaging you have on your sites and in promotional materials and make sure they are up-to-date.

Important things to remember

  1. The current Pivot URL will discontinue on March 1, 2019. You must begin using the new URL by that date.
  2. The new URL is already available and you can start updating your materials and communicate this change now.
